Here are the proboard rules: http://www.proboards.com/tos.html.
You also Have to follow these rules:

1) Don't SPAM. SPAM is short for Short, Pointless, Annoying Messages. They vary from posts like: "Yeah, cool!" and "I agree!" to an unnecessary amount of smilies to anything that just doesn't contribute to the topic being discussed. SPAM is not only rude, but it's a waste of precious bandwidth. Everytime you click a link, post something, use a smiley - you use bandwidth, which is what we need to keep Enervate running each day. So think before you SPAM: would you rather post SPAM, or keep the boards running? The answer should be obvious.
2) Be aware that this board is for people of all ages - including children. Therefore, we ask you to keep your language clean for the most part, and don't be vulgar. Some swear words are already on censorship, but for the most part, we trust you. Please don't make us rethink it.

3) Be respectful of EVERYONE. Members, staff, the actors of the movies, J.K. Rowling -- everyone. Bashing/slandering of any kind will not be tolerated; nor will offensive behavior aimed at any particular person's personal beliefs. [e.g, religion, politics, sexual orientation, etc.] If you are found to be behaving negatively towards another member/staff member, you will be banned - no exceptions.

4) Don't create more than one (1) account. Why would you need more than one, anyway? More than one account won't be tolerated, and any excess accounts will be deleted, regardless of post count.

5) Don't disrespect or ignore the moderators of this board. Moderators were chosen to be staff members because they know the rules and what they're supposed to be doing. If a moderator closes your thread, edits your signature, etc; they're not making it personal against you - it's their job. However, if you feel a moderator is acting out of line, please do not hesitate to bring it to the attention of an administrator.

6) Please make sure not to double post, post double topics, or post in the wrong forum. Check forum descriptions, and search the forums before creating a thread if you believe it might have been started prior to one you are creating.

7) Please talk normally, with the best grammar possible. Now, some poeple on here don't speak English as a first language, and we also know that typos sneak into everyone's posts at some point or another. However, the following ways of typing are NOT suitable for Enerate, and will not be tolerated:

Kewl Talk - "U R da bomb!", "U R un4gettable n U will B 4eva", etc. Don't use "u" for you, "r" for are, "4" for for, etc. Spell it out, please.

Distorted Text - OmG tHiS iS rEaLLy AnNoYiNg To ReAd ThRoUgH, iSn'T iT? sO pLeAsE dOn'T tYpE LiKe ThIs oR yOu WiLL gEt A wArNiNg Pm FrOm A mOdErAtOr!

Caps Lock - DON'T TYPE LIKE THIS BECAUSE YOU ARE CONSIDERED TO BE SHOUTING. ONLY TYPE LIKE THIS WHEN YOU NEED TO EMPHASIZE A WORD OR TWO. Right: Did he really SAY THAT? Wrong: DID HE REALLY SAY THAT?

Excessive Smilies or Excessive puncuation marks - OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or WHAT????????????????????????????

We are especially wary about kewl talk, mostly because we have so many members who weren't brought up speaking English as their first language. It's hard enough to understand and learn English to begin with, let alone have to sift through tons of posts that look like the examples above. So please, don't do it!

8) Do NOT bash authors/artists in the in any of the boards. Enervate, as a forum, is one that is open and accepting of everyone. Regardless of age, race, creed, religion, sexual identity and so on and so forth. This extends to not only members, but also to members' fanfictions and/or fanart - if you find a(n) story/artwork offensive, then PLEASE keep your flames private. PUBLIC FLAMES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
